Our Checklist for Admissions The following are typical problems that the Sunrise staff treat. This is not an exhaustive list, but is a brief sample of common admissions:
Utah Achievement Center insists on a selective admission policy to maintain the positive environment we believe is necessary for personal growth and change. Often teens with negative behavior are unable to correct that behavior when entering residential programs that have high enrollments. Our enrollment of no more than 18 girls at any given time allows for individualized and focused treatment of a variety of problems for girls 12-18 years old. Expenses Hospitals have traditionally treated adolescents in an emotional or mental health crisis. These treatment stays are approx. 9-12 month stay “individualized”, very costly to both the insurance company and/or the adolescent’s parents, and typically focus only on medical stability and medications. Utah Achievement Center utilizes a different approach. We are a professional organization, and licensed as a residential treatment center (RTC). We describe it as a “Cost Contained Alternative Care Program.” We are a caring, family oriented facility, priced fairly. Our length of stay tends to be shorter than many other RTC’s, but we have no predetermined notions about how long any given student will be with us. Like so many things at Utah Achievement Center, length of stay is individualized to meet the needs of each student. Utah Achievement Center accepts payment in a variety of ways. Parents and professionals are welcome to consult with a representative from Utah Achievement Center about private pay or insurance reimbursement. Please call us, and one of our Admission Counselors will help you decide how your daughter will best benefit from her Utah Achievement Center experience. Our low cost is the same for each private paying client, however, our rates for insurance companies may vary depending on our provider status with your insurance company. |
